May's base is twice as tall as the one in the picture. Maybe it was changed after they re-released her. The mudkip is fully detachable and you can display it on the water base or just take it off and put it anywhere. The May looks super cute and the pose is very dynamic. She is true to her ORAS version with the new hair, clothes, and cute proportions.

This figure is just perfect. I was surprised at the paint texture which has a slightly more matte finish than what I am used to, it gives the figure such a clean impression of quality ! I wasn't sure if the Mudkip would be attached to the figure or base but it's not, it's just loose and it means I could mix-n-match with another figure of the line (Brian for my perfect gen 3 trainer look ??). The quality feel on this one is really high and I will definitely consider getting other trainers.

Haruka is super cute and adorable, detailed, in a fun pose with cheerful expression, but Mudkip takes the cake. It's so cute! It doesn't really fit that well in the water splash, but it's super adorable, so never mind such small flaws. Lovely figure.
