Like many 90's kids, I was a kid that watched this when I probably shouldn't have, thinking it would be like other anime at the time. I had just finished watching an episode of something called "Blue Seed". Anime was still very new to me and not mainstream in the west yet. So my little kid mind thought "Perfect Blue must be related to Blue Seed". Needless to say, this movie scared me, but I watched it over 50 times.
I normally avoid figures from horror shows/movies, but Mima is such a lovely character, I had to get her. And she's at such a reasonable price. The figure itself is great and she's wearing the iconic dress from the movie. It still scares my inner childhood self, but it's worth having. It makes me want to watch the movie again. I'm honestly amazed and glad they decided to make a figure from such an old movie. I hope they make even more!
the film is an absolute masterpiece of japanese animation. the character is iconic and is represented in the most emblematic position. perhaps not the most successful ever, but what a beauty.
This PUP is fantastic for the price! I was actually thinking to myself when I recived her if she could be a PUP Large even. She's not huge, but I could easily pass her as a 1/8 or 1/7. I think she is noticeably bigger then the Nekopara PUP's I had which were around 17cm tall, this is kneeling but still 13cm. I'm very pleased!
