I have purchased quite a few of the Monsterarts Kaiju line and each one has amazed me more than the last. Mothra is incredible in every detail. All four of her wings are individually articulated. Her abdomen is segmented so that she can be posed in a variety of ways to help the illusion of a living insect. Her head can twist and turn, her mouth can open and close. Each of her six legs features 5 points of articulation, which is incredible for such small appendages on this figure.
While the engineering is incredible, the sculpting and painting really sell this figure. The wings are gorgeous and her eyes look like they are straight out of the movies. The only thing that could make this figure more like her counterpart is if there were somehow LEDs to make her eyes glow. The sculptors really did a great job of making this figure feel soft and fragile while still keeping the toy sturdy enough for such a detailed piece.
