I really like Rean from the Legend of Heroes series, and this is my favorite outfit for him. Overall it's a pretty good figure. He looks very dynamic in his posing, but I would have preferred a more neutral pose if I am honest. As it is, he looks better when placed below eye level (unfortunately the spot I have for him now is on a top shelf so I cannot appreciate the fine details in his face and hair as easily).

If I were to nitpick, I think the colour they chose for Rean’s gold accents are too yellow. They have a very orange hue. The lines on the back of his flapping coat are a little uneven in places too - it isn't a big deal, but it is worth noting.

As I will collect these as they release, I worry that Kotobukiya is choosing too many action poses. Altina Orion is small enough to not be a problem, but the posing for this Rean and future releases of Crow Armbrust and Rixia Mao look like they will take up much more shelf space. The boxes for these figures are also a lot bigger than they need to be in my opinion.

Despite not being the exclusive KOTO version with the alternate face and hair, you are still able to pop off his hair and potentially change the face plate with other characters... I don't have enough to try it, but if the face plate is the same shape, it should work.
