Akagi was the first Azur Lane statue I ever bought. I have had her since 2021, and she is my pride and joy of my scale figures. The box is big and had lots of blistering to protect the figure. The statue is a faithful recreation of Akagi's default skin and pose. There are many subtle details to discover, from the translucent color change of her carrier flight deck to the color change of her 9 tails, to the way the light shines through her brown hair! While the statue is relatively simple compared to more modern figured, Kotobukiya makes a great figure for the price you pay. To put it another way, I believe it is the best bang for your buck figure you can find, when the price is right. The figure is easy to assemble and has held up well to being put on display for long periods of time. There is great detail for her coat, and her face looks exactly like the game, with those beautiful red eyes. The only complaint I would bring up is that the red plane she holds in her hand is only held together by the gap between her fingers, and it could get lost easily if you move her around the house too much or store her ourside of a display case. But this problem was corrected when they made the Kaga statues, and it doesn't take away from the quality of the figure.

Overall, this figure is good quality and absolutely still worth picking up, especially if you are a fan of Akagi. She will make a fine addition to any azur lane collection. Now, go out there and welcome her home to the port!
