Yostar knows its audience and more importantly, knows character design. Give us a colorful fantasy world, a suspiciously large cast of cute girls, plenty of gacha pulls and a protagonist everyone insists on calling Boss, and chances are someone is going to stick around.

Released globally about a year ago in October 2025, Stella Sora is Yostar’s top-down light-action RPG set in the fantasy continent of Nova. Players explore mysterious structures known as Monoliths alongside Trekkers, building three-character teams and picking up randomized perks during each run. The setting mixes fantasy with a strangely modern everyday life, so knights can carry flip phones, adventurers grab drinks from vending machines and witches can casually fly around on broomsticks.

At the center of all this is you. Or more specifically, the Tyrant.

After awakening from a thousand-year slumber with very little memory of what happened, the Tyrant travels across Nova trying to uncover the truth behind their forgotten past. The funny part is that while you may have no idea who you are, apparently everyone else remembers the title. Players can choose the protagonist’s appearance, with both a Male and Female option. As I write this, I am slowly realizing just how influential Mihoyo has been in the gacha space... Female Tyrant was the obvious pick for Good Smile’s full scale release.

The black-and-blue outfit is easily one of the biggest highlights. Rather than the typical adventurer armor or school uniform, Female Tyrant has this elegant fantasy aristocrat look, without turning her into an obvious villain. Deep black forms most of the outfit, while blue accents and small gold details give it enough contrast to keep all the darker pieces readable.

The silhouette is also very clean. There are plenty of decorative elements, but they do not bury the character underneath layers of fantasy clutter. The outfit still follows her body naturally, and the exposed areas around the shoulders and upper chest keep it from becoming too heavy.

Her long grey hair does a lot of work too. Against all that black fabric, it immediately pulls your eyes toward the face and gives the upper half of the figure a much softer appearance. It is a nice contrast for someone with a title as threatening as Tyrant.

She has both dignity and a noble charm. The expression gets that across quite well. She has a cool, slightly mysterious look rather than a big anime smile. Combined with the elegant hand positioning, she looks like somebody accustomed to being treated as important even if she currently cannot remember why.

There is a thin gold chain hanging around her waist, decorative patterns worked into the knee-high socks and black gloves that transition into bright blue fingertips. All of these elements keep the darker outfit from becoming one uninterrupted mass of black plastic. I think the gloves are especially nice. The blue fingertips are a small thing, but they draw attention toward the hands and make the graceful pose more noticeable.

The patterned stockings serve a similar purpose lower down. Dark stockings on a dark outfit could easily disappear visually, but the subtle decoration gives them enough texture to stand apart without screaming for attention. My only complaint is no thigh pinch, but Tyrant was never meant to compete with Ryza.

Overall, this is a very polished first scale figure for Stella Sora. The pose is elegant rather than flashy, the black-and-blue palette looks great with her pale hair, and all of those small gold, blue and patterned details keep the relatively dark design visually interesting. Female Tyrant is currently available for pre-order with an expected November 2027 release!
