I was actually really surprised by this figure, she looks much better in real life than all the promo pics of her. In those pics her skin tone doesn’t look great but it looks really good in person. The likeness is very good for Maria, looks exactly like her, her face looks great.

I also love the checkered base, it’s so easy to do a base like this, it drives me nuts when we just get a black base, like the Kadokawa Baiser figure, the base is identical to the Pop Up Parade of her, both round black bases, but it cost 3x the price of the PUP. So I love when they at least have a decal or something done with the base to add colour and make the figure look better.

Overall I’m delighted with the figure & very happy to get her for just over $200, I would have been willing to pay more. It’s the only figure of Maria and definitely worth it in my opinion, but I’m a huge fan of Maria. It is a 10 year old figure so obviously the paint isn’t perfect, but you have to inspect it very close to see any imperfections, from even 1 foot away you can’t notice any flaws at all. Whereas say a Prize figure you’re going to notice flaws even 4 feet away.
