Spring is coming, I can feel it. It's taunting me with every clear and warm day that lingers progressively longer. The branches on the cherry trees are a little softer and a little greener every sunrise. Birds hop around, looking for a sign of warmer days. (*´ ｪ｀*)

Good Smile Company, the harbinger of affordable figures, awes us yet again with this release. With enough pink and frills for days, Madoka draws a fiercely rosy arrow. I say we should petition to make her the modern face of Cupid, what do you peeps think? I personally think that a flowery, willowy bow fits the aesthetic much better.

Her poofy skirt looks like a marshmallow! The color palette is just perfect: warm matte colors topped with glossy reds, like a strawberry dessert. (°ڡ°)
Maybe we should petition to make Madoka as an enemy of the Tooth Fairy instead. Her very nature makes my sweet tooth ache. It would be a great spin-off: the magical girls fight against a dentist consumed by her feelings of insignificance in an age where no one flosses. q(╯ᆺ╰๑)

Back to the Madoka figure: recently we’ve been seeing more and more of that “dancing flames” effect on scales. So far, it has been reserved to scales only, having made brief appearances in other Pop Up Parades, such as a small but striking detail on this Black Rock Shooter figure, or as the divine flames on Amaterasu’s reflector (and look! At the time of this blog post, those two are currently on sale! Order now to take advantage of a 20% discount! (*ﾟﾉ Oﾟ) ).
Maybe it’s my undying love of pink speaking, maybe GSC really did a great job…but I really, really like the effect on her arrow. The way it catches the light, making it look like liquid crystal, is just perfect. ( ˊᵕˋ )
