Welcome to the Solaris Blog! ヾ( ʚ̴̶̷ .̫ ʚ̴̶̷ )ノ”
In a market filled with plastic perfection and cute poses, Vkend Hobby’s 1/6 scale PA-15 from Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium doesn’t just arrive, it detonates. There is something about the crazy, yandere archetype that really gets the blood pumping. This isn’t a figure that asks for admiration. It demands emotional surrender. Florence’s smile isn't for you, it's her best weapon.
Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, the sequel to the cult hit Girls’ Frontline, released globally about a year ago. With unfortunate heavy gacha elements, it is a fun tactical RPG centered around the concept of anthropomorphic guns.
Exilium takes place in 2074, 12 years after the start of the original Girls' Frontline game. In this world, you play as the Commander, collecting different T-Dolls and leading a squad on missions. The T-Dolls are androids which were originally the personification of different guns. GFL2 put more focus on developing them as individual characters but keeps them linked to their weapon counterparts by giving additional buffs when equipped.
Like the first game, the story is driven primarily in a visual novel style, but character sprites have their faces animated with Live2D, some 3D cutscenes have been added and the parts are voice-acted. If you enjoyed XCOM and like tactical RPGs, give GFL2 a shot as the story can be enjoyed without any knowledge from the first game.
One of the recent additions to the Commander's arsenal was PA-15, a French semi-automatic pistol. The name of the gun is pretty straightforward with the 15 referring to the magazine capacity and the associated doll keeps her French roots being known as Florence.
PA-15 was originally a quirky, unstable sidearm T-Doll, but has been reengineered in Exilium into something far more volatile. Her design fuses healing nurse motifs with hardened military operator vibes, but it’s her crazy, emotional nature that makes her lethal to both our hearts, and wallets.
Florence doesn’t want love. She wants control. She’s the kind of character who weaponizes intimacy, who turns affection into leverage and makes you submit. Her eyes say it all in classic yandere fashion. Just the perfect level of crazy.
Florence is a medical specialist as reflected in subtle design choices. Her white attire, blue cross accents and mature looking outfit all hint that she can take care of you. In game, her kit reflects her personality and duality in her nature. She doesn't focus on healing, she consumes health to dish out more damage.
Vkend Hobby’s sculpt recreates her in-game character card. Her stance is both playful and mischievous but also confident and threatening. Her outfit clings to her where it counts with sharp, deliberate, body line reveals. She is a chibi girl who plays into a mesugaki archetype but also asserts herself as a sophisticated, mature lady when it suits her.
Florence's messy hair was nicely sculpted to add a sense of movement and the gradient bleeds subtly to look fantastic. Everything about her design is top notch. It grabs attention without being too loud, has a color palette that is perfectly balanced and has a commanding presence despite Florence being a small fry.
Florence doesn’t just look good, she looks dangerous. She’s the embodiment of love sickness, a character sculpted not for comfort but for conflict. She is the perfect queen for your collection, just don’t expect her to play nice. Florence is currently available for pre-order with an expected release in June of 2026.
