This year’s Digital Stars event had a much sweeter tone than the previous year; we went from dazzling holographic skirts to soft pastels and galaxy backgrounds! ﾟ*｡(･∀･)ﾟ*｡
Hobby Stock and Wing teamed up to turn Tsunako’s concept art into a reality. Everything is faithfully recreated so you can bring a little kawaii goodness to your collection!
There’s no rest for this virtual diva! One moment she’s debuting in Equestria, and the next moment she’s bringing joy to her fans all over the world at her own expo. Maybe it’s because of her busy schedule that this year’s event had a chill tone to it. Lofi Girl better get an update: the Vocaloid version of chill beats is much more efficient! ♫◖(￣︶￣)◗♪
Hatsune Miku doesn’t just study to music, she is the music. She rides the melody carefully crafted for her by fans and DJs from all over. Soundboard in tow, she feels the song, wondering how best to convey these feelings. First humming a phrase with hidden meaning, until these words become a glitch in your brain… (⁄ ⁄>⁄ω⁄<⁄ ⁄)⁄
Two words best describe this figure: masterful shading. The paint job is simply everything we want for Christmas. The soft transition between colors enhance the translucent effect on the tips of her twintails (classic) and the tip of her tie. All colors blend and blur to elevate the scene to a dreamy world, the one we escape to as we flop onto our bed to enjoy these songs. ( ुᴗ_ᴗ)ु.｡oO
I feel like clouds would have been a better base, like the ones we can see in the music video…but I’m not complaining. The keyboard and the speakers actually complement the figure nicely; they have mellow lights and are adorned with translucent decorations. It helps keep the World’s #1 Virtual Diva synced with the melody, grounded to the theme of the event.
With every step on the keys, a whirlwind of music rises, teasing her ever-perfectly balayage twintails. Writing this late at night, writer-san could have sworn they saw the lights pulse to the beat. Just to be clear: they don’t. It’s just a night owl’s brain enjoying their time; if you are vibing to the theme song as much as them, you will see it too. (◉⋏◉)
